Frequently Asked Questions

Does this agreement include a venue rental?
No. Section 1 covers a temporary right to participate in the event, not a real-property lease. A separate venue agreement may be needed.
What if the organizer changes the booth or included services?
Section 1.2 requires agreement for material changes. If the parties cannot agree, the exhibitor may cancel for a refund of fees paid.
What happens if the organizer cancels or postpones the event?
Section 2.3 addresses refunds for cancellation and gives the exhibitor an option if the event is postponed.
What are common warning signs in a vendor booth agreement?

These are common issues to watch for in any vendor booth agreement:

  • A booth move or service change has no agreement process
  • Included services are described only as 'standard'
  • Permitted activity conflicts with event rules
  • Refund percentage or cancellation deadline is unclear
